From a happily married Christian man who knows healthy boundaries in social intimacy between his cross-gender friendships and others who would question:
"I've had hundreds of private meetings, coffee shop dates, lunch dates, dinner dates, walks in the park, etc. with dozens of females, some close, some very close (intimate). If a fundamentalist encounters me on a "date" with a female (married or single) in public, and they don't know each other, I introduce them. End of story. Take it or leave it. If they have a problem, it's their problem."
